Ann was a very special lady. I met her a few years ago when I joined the Bereavement Ministry of our parish. Over the years we became very good friends. We shared our faith and we enjoyed researching the Ancestry of our families. Through Ancestry I found out that I was 18% Irish. We laughed because I thought all of my family was French. About 4 years ago, on St Patrick's Day, a received a card in the mail and it was titled.."Happy St Patrick's Day to my Irish cousin". We laughed at that. Over the years we spoke to each other at least once a day. I spoke to her the night before she died. She told me she was going to have some blood work done. We spoke for about a half hour and then we said goodbye...nevery knowing that it was our last goodbye. Boy and I going to miss her. She was very special. She will always have a special place in my heart. Farewell my friend but not goodbye. We'll meet again.
