Loving husband, father, grandfather and brother

Robert F. Moynihan, 84, formerly of Lowell, died Tuesday, February 5th in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor M. (Noonan) Moynihan who survives him.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, June 10, 1934, he was a son of the late John and the late Frances (McCrosson) Moynihan.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was the recipient of the Korean Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
Before retiring, he was employed as Manager of Processing with the United States Postal Service in Lowell. Previously, he worked as a bartender in and around Lowell for many years.
Among his many activities, Bob was a lifetime member of the Lowell Elks Lodge #87 and the American Legion Post 0162 in Deerfield Beach, Florida for 26 years. He was an avid golfer and a Green Bay Packers fan before the New England Patriots became a team and he never changed.
In addition to his wife Eleanor, Bob is survived by a daughter Kerry Eve and her husband Lindsay of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; a grandson Tyler J. Eve; two sisters Marguerite Patrick of Cape Cod, MA and Louise Kilmartin of Dracut, MA.    
He was also predeceased by his baby son Robert J. Moynihan who died at birth and his brothers Daniel, John and James Moynihan.  

MOYNIHAN – Friends may call for a Memorial Visitation at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 5 to 7 P.M. on Thursday. Donald P. Gagnon, Sr.

Retired Principal Robinson School (1969 - 1994);

Donald P. Gagnon, Sr., 85, of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, a well- known retired local educator, passed away peacefully Monday May 27, 2019, at his son's home surrounded by his loving family.

He was the beloved husband of Mildred K. (Fahey) Gagnon, who survives him and with whom he would have celebrated 63 years of marriage this June.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, September 18, 1933, a son of the late James W. and the late Catherine (Beecher) Gagnon, he attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Newman Prep High School in Boston.

A proud veteran of the Korean Conflict, Don served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corp where he attained the rank of sergeant.

Following his years in the service, Don came back home where he went on to Fitchburg State College where he received both his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and later attained his Master’s in Education.

He began his career in education as an industrial arts and science teacher at the Bartlett school in Lowell. Don then served as the Director of Federal Programs for the City of Lowell from 1967 to 1969.

In 1969, Don was named the Principal of the Robinson school in Lowell were he served for over 25 years until his retirement in 1994.

A history buff and avid Patriots and Red Sox sports fan, he enjoyed carpentry, building and gardening. However, Don's greatest joy was being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife Mildred, Don is survived by two daughters Mary Rita Gagnon of Chelmsford and Lauriann Prive and her husband Mark of Hampton, NH; a son Donald P. Gagnon, Jr. and his girlfriend Kathy Goulakos of Nashua, NH; four grandchildren Rebecca Husmer and her husband Steve, Samuel Gagnon, Adam Prive and Mitchell Prive; a sister Lorraine Bragan of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late James Gagnon, Jr.

Friends may call at the O'DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. in LOWELL from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at ST. RITA CHURCH in LOWELL at 12:30 P.M. followed by his burial at St. Mary Cemetery in No. Tewksbury. deeply loved by his family and had an unwavering devotion to God 

FARLEY – Peter M., April 17, 2019, at age 68. Born in Lowell on June 3, 1950, and laid to rest in a private ceremony on April 23 beside his parents, Edward P. Farley and Gertrude M. (Dalton) Farley at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Survived by his sisters, Mary Susan (Farley) McHale of Oyster Bay, NY, and Margaret B. (Farley) Paine of Newton, his niece Alicia Lankowski and her husband Joseph of Billerica, and their children Ava, Steven and Cora, and many other adoring (and adored) nieces and nephews.

Dear brother of the late Edward A. Farley of Haverhill and the late M. Nancy (Farley) LaFerriere of Lowell. Courageously faced – but never vanquished by –  tremendous obstacles for most of his life, his remarkable good spirit, tremendous love for and from his family, and his unwavering devotion to God.

Well cared-for by the fine people at Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Lexington and, in years prior, by the loving staff at Tewksbury State Hospital, and especially his social worker Mona Tye. His legal guardian, Karen Kearns, Esq., provided years of support and guidance.

Margo R. McAnespie

Beloved daughter, sister “Auntie” and friend;

Margo R. McAnespie, 54, of Lowell and a member of a widely known Lowell family, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning May 16, 2019, at her home.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 24, 1965, the daughter of John P. “Jack” McAnespie, Jr. and Margaret R. (Armstrong) McAnespie, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1983. Margo went on to attend U/Mass Lowell.

Most recently Margo was working regionally as a trade compliant specialist in the computer industry. Previously, she was employed in the field of property management.

A “gal” with an outstanding personality, Margo had more friends than could be counted and had a big heart with open arms for everyone. She loved being “Auntie” to her nieces and nephews whom she adored.

Besides her parents whom will miss her dearly, she is survived by her 3 brothers Jay McAnespie and his wife Laurie (Callery) of Lowell, Brian J. McAnespie of Dracut, Tammy Dupont sister-in-law of Dracut and Dan McAnespie and his wife Holly (Quealey) of Lowell; eight nieces and nephews Meghan, Hannah, Molly, Jack, Erin, Ella, Brian McAnespie and Lauren and Jerome Neidigh and their son Charlie; her uncle and godfather James McAnespie and his wife Anna of Deerfield Beach, FL; and her godmother Eleanor A. Corfield of Martha’s Vineyard.

Friends may call at the O’DONNELL FUNERAL HOME 276 PAWTUCKET ST. at Fletcher from 4 to 8 P.M. Monday. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH at 11 o’clock. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Committal Services will be held privately at a later date.
