
Catherine M. (Murphy) Liston Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend Catherine A. (Murphy) Liston, 86, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell passed away on Saturday February 27, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Liston, a retired member of the Lowell Police Department, who died in 2000. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, October 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Frederick T. and the late Anna M. (Manning) Murphy, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Among her many interests, Kay enjoyed reading and following politics but her greatest joy was when she was with her family and siblings. A dedicated mother she is survived by her son Robert F. Liston of Lowell; her daughter Kara Iserman and her husband Edwin of Westfield, MA; two granddaughters Kathryn A. Stewart and Anna E. Stewart both of Westfield; a grandson Colin R. Stewart of North Carolina; a step granddaughter Brianna Smith; a step great grandson Brayden Guillemette; two brothers Ronald Murphy and his wife Barbara of Dracut and James “Denny” Murphy and his wife Nora of Maryland; a sister-in-law Helen Murphy of Dracut; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her siblings Rita Perreault, Ann Draper, Helene Ayotte, Thomas, Daniel, Frederick and Joseph Murphy. Marina (Lampropoulos) Cote Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend;
Marina (Lampropoulos) Cote, 72, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, April 29, 1948, the daughter of the late Peter A. and the late Mary P. (Neofotistos) Lampropoulos, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of the Lowell Trade School (nka Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School).
Marina worked for over 27 years at the Raytheon Corporation as a test technician until her retirement.
A devoted mother, Marina was most happy when she was with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons Donald R. Cote, Jr. and Peter D. Cote and his wife Coralie all of Lowell; six grandchildren Nicholas P. Canelas, Justin A. Cote, Kristen M. Cote, Athena M. Cote, Alexia C. Cote and Peter E. Cote all of Lowell; a brother Anastasios Lampropoulos of Arizona; a sister Anna Harris of Lowell; a brother-in-law Louis Mitsios of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
Marina was also the sister of the late Helen Mitsios.

Eileen A. Trainor
Beloved sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin and close friend;
Eileen A. Trainor, 86, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at the High Pointe House in Haverhill, Massachusetts on Friday February 25, 2021 after a brief illness.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, January 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Edward J. and the late Mary A. (Sullivan) Trainor, Eileen attended St. Patrick's Grammar school and St. Patrick's Girls High School in Lowell.
Eileen was in the banking industry for over 40 years, mostly as a Human Resource Officer at the former Union National Bank and later as a Loan Officer with the Enterprise Bank and Trust until her retirement.
A longtime parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Lowell, she was also a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of her parish. She was also a former member of the Board of Directors of D'Youville Senior Care and loved to help in many other community charitable endeavors.
In addition, she loved her family very much and enjoyed traveling whenever she could,
Eileen is survived by her sister Mary K. Trainor of Lowell; three nieces Kathleen A. Devereaux and her husband John of Litchfield, NH, Jean M. Trainor of Brewster, MA and Donna M. LaRoche and her husband Ed of Jaffrey, NH; a nephew Edward M. Trainor and his wife Athena of NYC, NY; two great nephews, one great niece; and many dear cousins and close friends.
In addition, she was the sister of the late Edward “Ted” Trainor and his wife Janine Trainor. Eileen loved their childhood in Lowell, growing up near their loving extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday morning March 4, 2021 at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in LOWELL AT 10:00 A.M. followed by her burial in St. Patrick Cemetery. Paul D. Armstrong
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, friend and epic story- teller;
Paul D. Armstrong, 71, beloved husband of the late Colleen P. Armstrong, with whom he recently celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 23rd of a broken heart. He enjoyed a full life, often surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A longtime resident of Lowell MA, he was born to the late Robert J. and the late Eileen M. (Hogan) Armstrong.
A student of the Immaculate Conception School, Paul later studied at Newburgh Theological Seminary in Newburgh, NY. He was a 1967 graduate of Lowell High School and a graduate of Northern Essex Community College.
Paul had a lengthy career working with technology from the days of microfilm and microfiche at Prime Computer and Raytheon through his time as a computer specialist at Best Buy, where he was an influential mentor to many. He also spent years working alongside his brother-in-law Lee at Northeastern Consulting Forestry Services.
Aside from spending as much time as possible with his family, Paul was a prolific story teller of epic tales. He was also an accomplished bowler and avid golfer. He was happiest when participating in a variety of outdoor activities including softball, fishing, water skiing, swimming, camping and canoeing with his ever-present red fishing hat. He took pride in being a master creator of scavenger hunt lists, fierce Survivor competitor, joke teller, and card and game aficionado. Paul’s crowning achievement was implementing “Grampy’s Plan” of embarking on a family trip to Walt Disney World. Paul’s family was the center of his world – his mantra was “Family IS Everything”!
Paul is survived by his 4 loving children: Mark Armstrong and his wife Holly of Dracut, MA; Keith Armstrong and his wife Sherrie of Chelmsford, MA; Justine Matte and her husband John of Merrimack, NH; and Heather Armstrong and her fiancé Steven Munroe of Townsend, MA; an extremely proud and enthusiastic Grampy to 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren: Katlynn (Armstrong) Wageling, Tyler Armstrong, Rachel Armstrong, Rileigh Armstrong, Stephanie Matte, Julia Matte, Ethan Matte, Morgan Armstrong, Brady Matte, Marissa Matte, Leah Munroe and great grandchildren Emma, Eleanor and Sarah Wageling. Grampy was a central figure in each of their lives and they will miss him dearly.
Paul is also survived by his 2 sisters: Sandra Garneau and her husband Lee of Hudson, NH; Eileen Dion of Pleasanton, CA; his brother Michael Armstrong and his wife Joan of Lowell, MA.; and many nieces and nephews whom he held very dear to his heart. He is also survived by beloved sisters-in-law: Gloria Allard of Seattle, WA; Dianne Callahan and her husband Tim of Portsmouth, NH; Pamela Stoddard and her husband Butch of Gilford, NH; Christine Pilgram of Salt Lake City, UT, and Beth Perron of Ipswich, MA.
Paul is predeceased by his late brother Robert J. Armstrong Jr. as well as his in-laws Maureen Armstrong, John Dion, Bernard Perron, John Perron, Edward Allard, Michael Callahan; nieces Christine Allard and Karen Lefebvre, and nephew David Armstrong.
