
Richard G. “Dick” Boyle
a well-known local developer, contractor, and avid golfer;
Richard G. “Dick” Boyle, 86, of Pelham, New Hampshire, and Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, a member of a well-known Greater Lowell family, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday morning, March 12, 2020, after a brief illness.
He was the beloved husband of Ruth A. (McCaffrey) Bourk-Boyle, who survives him, and the late Mary (Manning) Boyle.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on September 29, 1933, a son of the late Thomas E. Boyle, Sr., and the late Jean (Bourk) Boyle, he attended St. Patrick Grammar School and Lowell Trade School.
Dick began his career at the age of 15 as a bricklayer and worked with his family for many years. He later became a successful developer and manager of affordable housing and commercial properties. Through his work, he provided housing for both lower income families and elderly people in the Lowell community. He also supported economic development in the Greater Lowell area.
He was a member of the Brick Layers Union, I.B.A.C #31, and the Lowell Lodge of Elks, B.P.O.E #87.
In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by a step-daughter, Mary Ann (Manning) Kennedy and her husband Richard of Worcester; two grandchildren, Richard Kennedy of New York, New York and Elizabeth DeHoratius and her husband Edmund of Worcester, Massachusetts; two sisters, Barbara Clement of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and Gail McDonald of Ipswich, Massachusetts; two brothers, Robert A. Boyle of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Gary D. Boyle and his wife Edna of Seabrook, New Hampshire; many nieces and nephews; four step-children, Michael Bourk of Pelham, New Hampshire, Timothy Bourk of Bozeman, Montana, Roger Bourk of Andover, Massachusetts, and Kerry Adams and her husband Michael of Hingham/Hull, Massachusetts. He is also survived by a daughter, Diane Crawford, her husband David, and their daughters Lauren and Ashley all of Arizona.
Three of his brothers, Thomas E. Boyle, Jr., Edward P. Boyle, and Roger E. Bourk, preceded him in death.
There will be no calling hours. Relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Dick on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Church, 12 6th Street, Lowell, Massachusetts, 01850. Patricia A. Finn
beloved family member and friend;
Patricia A. Finn, 92, of Dracut, passed away Wednesday morning March 11, 2020 at home in Dracut, Massachusetts with her family by her side.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Martin J. and the late Margaret V. (Lannan) Finn, she attended St. Patrick Grammar school, St. Patrick Girl’s High School and Lowell Commercial College.
For many years, Pat worked as an assembler with Honeywell Corporation in Lawrence and before that at Heinz Electric in Lowell.
Pat is survived by a large family of nieces, nephews and cousins, among them her niece Mary Jo Finn-Ryan and nephew Mark Finn, with whom she resided; her niece Roberta Peaslee and her husband Gerald of Dracut; and her sister-in-law Patricia Finn.
She was predeceased by her siblings Dorothy Newell, Lillian Sweat, Irene Desmond, Martin Finn and William Finn.

John S. “Jack” McKenzie, C.P.A.

A Master of the Fourth Degree for the Knight’s of Columbus;
John S. “Jack” McKenzie, C.P.A., 83, of Lowell, died Monday evening at Lowell General Hospital with his cherished family by his side.
He was the beloved husband for over 47 years of Joanne D. (Wisniewski) McKenzie, who survives him.
He graduated from St. Patrick Grammar school, Keith Academy in the Class of 1954 and then Bentley College where he received his Bachelor of Science and his C.P.A. certificate.
Jack served his country as a member of the U.S. Naval Reserves.
A Certified Public Accountant in Boston and Lowell for many years, he established the firm of McKenzie and Frawley in Tewksbury over 25 years ago.
Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 50 years and was an active participant with the annual Tootsie Roll Drive, a charity whose proceeds were for “God’s Special Children”, those who are physically and intellectually challenged. He was also appointed Master of the Fourth Degree for the Massachusetts District of the Bishop James A. Healy Province and served two terms from 2010 to 2014.
A well- known and respected member of the Color Guard for the Knights of Columbus, John participated in religious services such as the Mass to celebrate Irish Cultural Week at St. Patrick’s Church as well as special events, confirmations, wakes and funerals at various churches throughout Greater Lowell.
A Lector and Eucharistic Minister at both Holy Trinity and Immaculate Conception Church, he taught Religious Education to 7th and 8th grade students for many years at Holy Trinity parish.
He was also a member of Long Meadow Golf Club.
In addition to being a longtime communicant of St. Patrick parish, he was presented the prestigious Anam Cara award from the Parish. He was also President of the Finance Committee and the President of the Board of Directors for the Lowell Day Nursery Association.
Besides his wife Joanne, Jack is survived by his son John Stephan McKenzie and his wife Ruth (Murray) McKenzie and their children Grace Ellen McKenzie and John William “Jack” McKenzie all of Andover, who attend St. Augustine Parish and his son Jeffrey Sean McKenzie with whom he also resided.

Kevin D. Finnegan
Loving son, husband, nephew, cousin and friend;
Kevin D. Finnegan, 39, of Wakefield, MA but formerly of Westford, MA, passed awayTuesday March 3, 2020 in Wakefield.
He was born in Newton, Massachusetts, June 25, 1980, the beloved son of Kevin F. Finnegan and MaryAnn (Dziczek) (Finnegan) Johnston.
Kevin attended Westford schools and was a graduate of Westford Academy. He went on to graduate from U/Mass Amherst with a Bachelor Science Degree in Economics.
Kevin was employed for over ten years for Oracle Inc., in Burlington, where he worked as a Senior Sales Manager.
Kevin will be remembered for his quick smile, his wonderful sense of humor, his generosity, his bright and inquisitive mind, his fierce loyalty to his friends and fellow employees and most of all his enduring love and affection for his family. He Loved to travel, including many trips to Germany to visit family.
Kevin is survived by his father Kevin F. Finnegan, Esq. and his wife Margaret Reilly, Esq. of Charlestown, his mother MaryAnn (Dziczek) (Finnegan) Johnston of Plymouth, his wife Lena "Helene" (Hildebrandt) Finnegan of Wakefield; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
