
Andrew F. Sheehan
Founder of AFS Electrical Service in Chelmsford;
Andrew F. Sheehan of Chelmsford passed away peacefully on Thursday evening at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by his family after a brief illness. He was 70.
He was the beloved husband of Donna (Stephens) Sheehan for more than 48 years. A life-long Chelmsford resident, he enjoyed spending time at his family home in York, Maine.
Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on August 28, 1948, he was the son of the late Andrew L. and Laura (Tremblay) Sheehan and was a graduate of the Chelmsford High School Class of 1966.
Andy became a Master Electrician and established his own business as owner and operator of AFS Electrical Service for the past five decades.
Active in his industry, he was the former President and current member of the Massachusetts Electrical Contractor Association, as well as the Assistant Electrical Inspector for the Town of Andover for more than 30 years.
In addition to his wife Donna, Andy is survived by his three daughters, Anne Marie Costantino and her husband Greg of Boston, Joyce Sheehan of Dallas, and Debra Severini and her husband John of Windham, NH.; his son Stephen Sheehan and his wife Nichole of Chelmsford; his granddaughter Lucy Sheehan and five grandsons Jack Sheehan, Leo Severini, Luke Sheehan, Max Severini and Vince Severini.
He was also the brother of the late Clarida B. Dolan and the late Mary B. Sheehan.

THE HONORABLE JAMES M. GEARY JR.

Well known retired District Court Judge
The Honorable James M. Geary Jr., age 83, a retired Middlesex and Essex County District Court Judge, formerly of Lowell and Chelmsford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, at his home in Matunuck, Rhode Island with his loving family by his side.
He was appointed as a District Court Judge for Middlesex and Essex Counties on April 11, 1995 at the Ayer District Court. He retired in 2006 after a highly distinguished career on the Bench. Following his retirement, he lived in Matunuck with his beloved wife of 54 years, Marie Robinson Geary.
Born in Lowell on April 11, 1936, the son of the late James M. Geary and the late Catherine Novak Geary, he was the brother of the late Robert J. Geary. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish. Judge Geary graduated from Lowell High School in 1953. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1953 until 1957 as a Communications Specialist. Judge Geary graduated from Providence College in 1961 and Boston University Law School in 1964.
Judge Geary’s career in the law encompassed many different facets of the profession. He served as an FBI Special Agent in the Atlanta and New York City offices from 1964 until 1967. In 1968, he opened a private practice in Chelmsford. He worked as an Assistant District Attorney for Middlesex County, as Town Counsel for the town of Tyngsboro, as Counsel for the Chelmsford Housing Authority, and as Counsel for several Greater Lowell Housing Authorities. He served his community until his appointment to the Bench in 1995.
Active in many civic and charitable organizations, Judge Geary was a former trustee of D’Youville Manor and the Middlesex Community College Foundation. He was a former member of the Vesper Country Club.
In addition to his wife Marie, Judge Geary is survived by his four beloved children: Gretchen Geary Suarez and her husband Miguel Suarez of Dorchester, MA, Rachel M. Geary and her husband Lee Feekins of Kyiv, Ukraine, Kathleen M. Geary and her partner David Lockesmith of Petersham, MA, and James M. Geary III and his wife Christine Reilly of Matunuck, RI, and three grandchildren: Bo Daniel Feekins, Sebastian Geary Suarez, and Georgia Fae Feekins. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Margaret Gray Geary of Chelmsford, as well as many loving extended family members.

Employed at D’Youville Manor for over 30 years;
Robert W. McCutcheon, 89, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Health Care Center on Monday July 29, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Fleurette M. (Weissel) McCutcheon. Born in Lowell on July 17, 1930, a son of the late Marshall and Flora (LaMarshe) McCutcheon, Robert was educated in the Lowell school system and graduated from Lowell Trade School. Prior to his retirement, he worked at D’Youville Manor in the maintenance department for over 30 years. Robert was happiest when he was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed carpentry work as a hobby and any projects that involved being handy. He is survived by his companion Cheryl Hancock; two daughters Cynthia M. Baron and her husband Jonathan of Lowell and Colleen A. Cappella and her partner Carl LeChel of Clarksburg, NY; eight grandchildren; Shane R. McCutcheon, Tara T. McCutcheon, Ronald R. McCutcheon, Angela Colby, Timothy D. Blanchard, Jr. and Jennifer M. McCutcheon; as well as eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Robert is also survived by his sister Emma McCutcheon of Lowell. He was the grandfather of the late Crystal Blanchard and brother of the late Clara McCutcheon, Frances Provost and Rita McAneney.

Pearl T. (Houle) (Barbeau) (Clifford) Neveux
Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great-grandmother;
Pearl T. (Houle) (Barbeau) (Clifford) Neveux, 94, of Bedford, New Hampshire, but formerly of Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon with family by her side at the Bedford Hills Nursing Center in Bedford, NH.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Neveux, the late Owen Clifford and the late Arthur Barbeau whom all predeceased her.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, July 6, 1925, Pearl was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and the late Lucy Albina (Sinotte) Houle.
A graduate of Winnisquam High School in Tilton, NH, Pearl was also a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizen’s Widow’s Club, the Red Hats and the Red Zingers.
She is survived by four daughters Carol Beaulieu and Robert Marquis of Nashua, NH, Betty Pezza and her husband Peter of Milford, MA, Lynne Lowd and her husband David of Belmont, NH and Julie Barbeau and her wife Jill Brennan of Chelmsford; three sons William Barbeau and Linda Nichols of Florida, Russell Barbeau and his wife Lilly of Northfield, NH and Arthur Barbeau, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of North Carolina; four step-children; 28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great -great grandchild; Cousin Theresa Bachler of Franklin, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
Pearl was predeceased by her siblings Rita Whitaker, Dot Le Grice, Gladys Gallant, Grant Houle, Roland Houle.
