Cynthia M. “Cindy” (Harris) Foye

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

 

Cynthia M. (Harris) Foye, 82, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday May 27, 2024, at Lowell General Main Campus after a brief illness.

She was the beloved wife of close to 60 years of James T. Foye, Sr. of Chelmsford, MA, who survives her.

Born in Lowell, MA, on January 6, 1942, the daughter of the late Everett “Bucky” and the late Florence (Gendron) Harris, she attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and was a graduate of Keith Hall class of 1957. She went on to graduate from Lowell State Teacher’s College (nka U/MASS Lowell) with a degree in Education,

Prior to her retirement, Cindy was a School Teacher at Lowell High School, teaching ESL – English as a second language for over 20 years. Previously, she taught at Sacred Heart Grammar School and in the Dracut, MA school system.

Amongst her several interests, she was an avid reader, enjoyed reading to and teaching others, taking trips to Mohegan Sun, playing bingo, and shopping. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Cindy is survived by a daughter: Donna M. Prato and her husband Armando of Westford, MA; two sons James T. Foye, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Huntersville, North Carolina, and Sean M. Foye of Merrimack, NH; four grandchildren Brian Prato, Shane Foye, Christina Prato, and Adam Prato; a sister Linda Reilly of Lowell, MA; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late David Harris and the sister-in-law of the late James B. Reilly.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford, MA for the dedicated and compassionate care she received over the last few years as well as the intermediate and hospice care nurses and doctors at Lowell General Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass to be celebrated on Tuesday June 4, 2024, at ST. MARY’S CHURCH 25 North Road in Chelmsford, MA, at 11:00 A.M., followed by her burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. E-condolences/directions at www.odonnellfuneralhome.com. Beverly L. Begley
Beloved mother, grandmother, and wife.

Beverly L. (Webb) Begley, 91, of North Chelmsford, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 2, 2024, at her home.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, March 30, 1933, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Mary A. (Bates) Webb. She shared 45 years of marriage with her beloved, late husband John (Jack) Begley, who predeceased her in 2001.

Beverly was raised and educated in Lowell. She was a graduate of Lowell High School and went on to receive her Bachelor of Education from Lowell State Teachers College. Prior to her retirement, Beverly was a longtime schoolteacher in the Chelmsford School system. She was also a parishioner of St. Margaret of Lowell Parish, and later St. John the Evangelist Parish.

Beverly had a zest for life and brought joy to all who knew her. She adored the beach and spent many summers in York and Ogunquit, ME. She was an avid cruiser and looked forward to her annual cruise vacations with her family. Beverly was a New England sports fan and enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. In addition, she enjoyed spending time with her cat, Cookie, bowling, music, cross stitching, and reading. Above all else, she was the beloved matriarch of her family and cherished her time spent with them, especially her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her son Timothy Begley and his wife Michelle Fields Begley of North Chelmsford, MA; granddaughters Shaylah Begley of Manchester, NH and Tarah Begley of Charlestown, MA; and grandson Liam Begley of East Hampstead, NH.

In addition to her husband and parents, Beverly is predeceased by her siblings, Jackson, Marjorie, Shirley, June, and Chapin.

Anne J. “Nancy” Turcotte
Beloved Sister, Aunt

 

Nashua, N.H.-- Anne J. "Nancy" Turcotte, 85, died Tuesday May 7, 2024 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H.

Born in Lowell, MA. on September 29, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mabel (Toohey) Turcotte.

Nancy was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1956 and then went on to graduate from Lowell Technological Institute receiving a Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering.

Nancy worked as a Materials Engineer for Raytheon and then chose a decade-long hospitality career in Germany, after which she worked in New York City as the Director of Human Resources for General Electric.

She is survived by brother, Edward W. "Ted" Turcotte and wife Ann; nephews, William E. Turcotte II and wife Karen and daughters Kelly and Jamie, and Stephen B. Turcotte and wife Grace and daughter Riley; nieces, Suzanne E. Turcotte and son Colton, and Kristin H. Mahoney and husband Henry.

She was predeceased by her brother Dr. William E. Turcotte and his wife Joan.

Lance B. Taylor

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.

Lance B. Taylor, 59, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

He was the loving husband of Eileen V. Bubanas, who survives him.

Born in Lowell, MA, Lance was the son of the late Robert Taylor and Margaret M. (Murphy) Bruce and was lovingly raised by his grandparents Josephine and Edmond Murphy. He attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School. Lance went on to work as a painter in the construction industry for many years.

Lance was an avid sportsman in his youth and a huge athletics fan who truly loved watching the Boston Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots. He was a great guy with a dynamic personality, a sense of humor, and great taste in music. Lance would walk into a room and make everyone laugh- He was a great friend to all.

In addition to his wife, Lance is survived by a daughter, Brittany A. Taylor of Tewksbury, MA; a stepdaughter, Mariah Marrero of Lowell, MA; two grandchildren, Christian and Isabella Cedrone; a nephew, Eddie Bruce of Sandown, NH; his father-in-law and good friend, Woody Bubanas and his wife Christine; and many good friends. He was predeceased by his brother Edmond Bruce, Jr.
